Baghdad: The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed today, Saturday, the necessity of investing all capabilities to stop the war in Gaza and restore calm in the region. Al-Hakim said in a statement that he "received the delegation of the International Council for Religious and Humanitarian Dialogue headed by Ali al-Moussawi, and discussed with them their vision towards the issues of interest to the Council," stressing "the necessity of investing all capabilities to stop the war in Gaza and restore calm in the region." He added that "the stability witnessed by Iraq at various levels is linked to several factors, including the return of societal harmony and the restoration of confidence between the Iraqi components," stressing "the importance of investing in the common humanity between religions, since Iraq is considered a country of diversity, as well as working to invest in religious discourse in confronting the challenges facing segments of society."
