Baghdad - Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, discussed with the ambassadors of Russia, Australia and Britain, stopping the war in the Gaza Strip.
The media office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement: “Al-Halbousi received, in separate meetings, the Russian Ambassador Elbrus Kutrashev, the Australian Ambassador Paula Ganly on the occasion of the end of her duties, and the British Ambassador Steve Hitchin.”
It added: "The meetings dealt with strengthening bilateral relations, the political situation in Iraq and the region, diplomatic efforts and the role of the international community in stopping the war in the Gaza Strip and delivering humanitarian aid, in addition to discussing a number of topics of common interest."
