Al-Mandalawi calls for the start of a new phase to develop the sports sector

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, called for the start of a new phase to develop the sports sector.

The media office of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement: “Al-Mandalawi received in his office today, the Head and members of the Administrative Body of the Central Oil Club, in the presence of MP Haitham Al-Fahd,” indicating that “the set of problems suffered by sports clubs and athletes in general and the club’s management in particular were reviewed.”

Al-Mandalawi called on the Ministries and concerned authorities to “supervise and manage sports clubs, increase interest in the sports sector, and provide the infrastructure required to care for youth, local and professional athletes,” stressing “the focus on increasing financial and moral support for clubs to prepare for the professional league season, on which the future of football for the country depends.”

Al-Mandalawi stressed “the necessity of having a representative of the sports clubs affiliated with the Ministry of Oil and their companies within the opinion body of the Ministry of Oil, to convey the demands of the clubs and athletes and meet all their needs,” pointing to “the importance of moving forward with a new and effective phase to develop the sporting reality.”/End
