Al-Mandlawi: Iraq is Focusing Today on Strengthening Economic and Investment Aspects and Sparing the Region the Scourge of Wars

Acting Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, stressed that Iraq is focusing today on supporting the economic and investment aspects and sparing the region the scourge of wars. Al-Mandlawi said during his meeting with the ambassadors of the Gulf countries today: "Iraq today seeks to build common visions with the Gulf countries and the region in particular, to contribute to reducing tensions and escalation, within the framework of the parliamentary diplomacy efforts that the legislative institution is working with during this circumstance that threatens the security and stability of all countries of the world without exception, stressing that the current stage requires unified and more stringent Arab and Islamic positions in taking the means that would pressure towards an immediate halt to the Zionist massacres that have crossed all red lines, in addition to effective and urgent cooperation in the file of bringing humanitarian aid to Gaza and Lebanon, and coordination with major count ries and concerned organizations to move towards forcing the entity to strictly comply with international law after it has gone too far in committing brutal massacres that the most professing countries of freedom and human rights have remained silent in front of. Al-Mandlawi pointed out that the silence of the international community towards the scenes of the killing of innocents, medical personnel, paramedics and peacekeeping forces, and the bombing of hospitals and populated buildings in Gaza and Lebanon, have become a green light and unconditional support for the entity in its continuation of committing unprecedented bloody genocides in the world, warning of the repercussions of the conflict in the region today, which are not subsiding between the parties to the conflict, but our countries will witness serious negative effects in the energy market, development, investment environment, air transport sector, and others. He pointed out that religious symbols and the authority of Ali al-Sistani in particular are an element of stability and a safety valve in the entire region, and attempts to target them in any form and under any circumstances must not be allowed. Al-Mandlawi reviewed Iraq's pivotal policy and focus on strengthening economic and investment aspects and sparing the region the scourge of wars, noting that the Iraqi Council of Representatives is striving to unify the official positions of Arab and Islamic parliaments and influence the international ones, which contributes to reducing escalation in the region and resolving crises and disputes.
