The Media Advisor to the Prime Minister, Hisham Al-Rikabi, announced that Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani will announce during the visit to Baiji that the stolen materials will be returned to the refinery.
He said in a tweet on Twitter: “The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, is visiting the Baiji district in Salah Al-Din Governorate, on a visit that is classified as very important, and Al-Sudani will announce during the visit that the stolen materials have been returned to the refinery.”
He added: It will also announce the start of investment in the Baiji station, which is part of the agreement with the Emir of the State of Qatar during his recent visit to Iraq, and this confirms once again that the relations that the government is working to revitalize with neighboring countries and the world are not formalities, but rather agreements and understandings that are implemented on the ground.
Al-Rikabi explained that the visit is considered a precedent for the Prime Minister to visit a district, as the visits are usually to city centers and governorates, and it also comes in implementation of a previous promise when he visited the city of Tikrit to single out the Baiji district for a visit alone.
