The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called on Arab and Islamic governments to pressure the Security Council to stop the Zionist violations. A document signed by Al-Sadr stated: 'I call on the Arab and Islamic governments, and the moderate and peace-loving countries, to pressure the members of the Security Council, which will convene in the coming days at the request of Algeria, and to demand that they issue binding and immediate resolutions to stop human rights violations and the killing of innocents in beloved Gaza, and to demand that the Zionist enemy immediately cease fire without any conditions. All of this represents the conscience of free nations and peoples.' Source: National Iraqi News Agency
