Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani discussed, today, Monday, with the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in a phone call the importance of intensifying efforts to stop the Zionist aggression against Lebanon and Gaza. A statement by his media office said: 'Al-Sudani made a phone call today, Monday, with the Emir of the State of Qatar, discussing the latest developments in the region, especially in the Lebanese arena, and the importance of intensifying efforts to stop the Zionist aggression against Lebanon and Gaza, which led to the martyrdom and injury of thousands of civilians.' The two sides stressed, according to the statement, the need to coordinate Arab and Islamic positions and efforts, in order to come out with a unified position that pressures the major countries and international organizations to take their responsibility towards the escalation against civilians and the violation of international laws."
