Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received today, Tuesday, the champion Najla Imad, who achieved a historic gold medal for Iraq in the table tennis event at the Paris Paralympics, accompanied by her father and her coach Jamal Jalal, in the presence of the Prime Minister's Advisor for Women's Affairs. During the meeting, Al-Sudani congratulated, according to a statement by his media office, what the golden champion has achieved, which represents an important humanitarian message today, as she was able to overcome the ordeal of terrorism, and was able to win with diligence and training, to be the first Iraqi woman to receive a gold medal in an international forum, extending his thanks to her father and her coach for the achievement that all the Iraqi people are proud of, and directed to host her in the Supreme Council for Women session, and to provide all the necessary capabilities for her and her fellow champions.
