Al-Sudani discusses with the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kuwait prospects for cooperation in various fields

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani discussed, today, Monday, with the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Interior in the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Fahd Youssef Saud Al-Sabah, prospects for cooperation between the two countries in various fields. A statement from his media office stated that Al-Sudani received, on Monday, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Interior of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. During the meeting, bilateral relations were discussed, and the two countries aspire to expand the horizons of cooperation in various fields and levels, and build fruitful economic partnerships that contribute to achieving mutual interests, enhance the security of the two brotherly countries, and support stability in the region. The meeting, according to the statement, touched on Kuwait's participation in the second Baghdad International Conference on Combating Drugs, hosted by the capital, Baghdad, and the importance of doubling security cooperatio n and high intelligence coordination; in order to combat the supply chains, transportation and manufacturing of these toxins, which have become a threat to societies, in addition to their economic and social risks, and taking the necessary measures to pursue the parties and individuals who traffic in them. The meeting also witnessed, according to the statement, the discussion of a number of joint files and the emphasis on continuing to hold dialogues and meetings of the Iraqi-Kuwaiti committees, which consider a number of issues and files of common interest.
