The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, received today, Saturday, a delegation of Chinese CETC Group companies specializing in energy, construction technology, and infrastructure. Al-Sudani pointed out, according to a statement by his media office, the government's economic approach to openness to productive partnerships and developing the investment environment in Iraq, in a way that suits international companies, attracts investments, strengthens partnerships with the Iraqi private sector, and provides supportive sovereign guarantees. For their part, the members of the delegation of the Chinese group expressed their desire to participate in the infrastructure sector in Iraq, and to contribute to development and economic projects, thus expanding the scope of cooperation with the private and public sectors in Iraqi, and within various economic and investment fields.
