Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received today, Sunday, the Commander of the International Coalition mission to fight ISIS in Iraq, General Kevin Leahy, in the presence of the US Ambassador to Iraq. During the meeting, according to a statement by the Prime Minister's Office, the progress of the technical dialogue between the two sides was discussed to end the mission of the international coalition in Iraq, and transfer the mission to the framework of bilateral relations between Iraq and the countries participating in the coalition, in addition to continuing cooperation in the field of training, expertise and information with the Iraqi security forces. The Prime Minister stressed that the remnants of the terrorist ISIS no longer pose a threat to the Iraqi state, and its elements have turned into groups hunted in remote areas for the purpose of concealment, as our armed forces continue their military operations to track down any traces or burrows of these terrorists.
