Algiers: Algeria and the United States signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on military cooperation, marking a significant step in the defense relations between the two nations. The signing took place during a meeting between General Said Chanegriha, the Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (PNA), and General Michael Langley, the Commander of US Africa Command (AFRICOM).
According to Qatar News Agency, the partnership between Algeria and the United States is experiencing positive dynamics in several areas, notably in defense and security. General Langley expressed his ongoing commitment to enhancing military cooperation, commending the level of coordination between the two countries.
The meeting also served as a platform to assess the current state of military cooperation and allowed both parties to exchange views on issues of mutual interest, further solidifying their collaborative efforts in the region.
