An Innovative Type Of Drug Seized In One Of The Checkpoints In Basra

The National Security Agency announced, today, Tuesday, the seizure of an innovative type of drug in a checkpoint in Basra Governorate.

The agency stated in a statement: "The National Security detachments in Basra seized a fake medical center that performs injection and cosmetic operations outside the health controls and conditions."

It added, "The agency's detachments arrested one of the investors in it after finding banned drugs and various devices that were confiscated in coordination with the competent authorities."

It continued: "our detachments also tightly ambushed and arrested an accused of flagrante delicto in one of the checkpoints. He was accompanied by (59) narcotic drops used for sniffing, which is a type of innovative drug use that was transported from Baghdad to Basra after it was prepared for distribution within the province." Indicating that "the accused were brought to the judicial authorities to receive their punishment in accordance with the law."
