An-Najah National University Hospital strengthens its leadership position by obtaining a 4-star global rating from Statista and Newsweek

Nablus – Ma’an – In a new step that confirms the leadership of An-Najah National University Hospital in the local and international health sector, the hospital received a 4-star rating from Statista in cooperation with the international magazine Newsweek, in addition to being included in the Global Hospital Rating, thus becoming one of the first hospitals in the region to receive this prestigious rating.

This evaluation highlights the hospital’s outstanding performance in several areas of healthcare, reinforcing its position as one of the most prominent healthcare institutions in the region.

This evaluation was based on several strict international criteria, such as the quality of healthcare, speed of response, patient safety, innovation in health information technology, and patient experience, in addition to the hospital’s attractiveness as an employer.

This achievement reflects the hospital’s commitment to providing integrated health services according to the highest international standards.

On this occ
asion, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Rami Al-Hamdallah, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the hospital, praised this achievement, saying: ‘The achievement of Al-Najah Hospital of this prestigious classification is the culmination of years of hard work and continuous development, and confirms the hospital’s commitment to providing medical services at the highest international level.’

Dr. Iyad Maqbool, CEO of the hospital, expressed his pride in this new global classification that the hospital has obtained, saying: ‘We are proud of this international recognition that reflects the efforts of all hospital staff. This classification represents an important step towards strengthening our position as a leading institution in providing advanced healthcare.’

In this context, Dr. Mohammed Jaber, Director of the Medical Department, stressed that developing medical and technological capabilities plays a pivotal role in improving the hospital’s medical performance, which contributed to achieving this distinction.

Mr. Abd
ullah Duwaikat, Director of the Quality Department, also praised the work teams that contributed to achieving this accomplishment, noting that this evaluation is a testament to the hospital’s commitment to continuously improving the quality of health services and patient safety.

It is worth noting that An-Najah National University Hospital previously obtained the Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for healthcare quality, as the first Palestinian educational medical center to obtain this international accreditation, which enhances its position as a leading health and academic institution in Palestine and the region.
