The Social Affairs Sector and the Health and Humanitarian Aid Department of the General Secretariat of the Arab League announced the transfer of urgently needed support, previously approved by the Council of Arab Health Ministers, to Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health. The aid aims to address the immediate and critical needs for medical supplies, emergency services, and other healthcare resources to help Lebanon manage the impacts of recent Israeli aggression and to strengthen the health sector's capacity to treat the injured.
