Doha: The Arab League has expressed approval for the recently announced peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, highlighting its potential to resolve the ongoing conflict and foster lasting peace in the Caucasus region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Arab League released a statement on Saturday, emphasizing its full support for the agreement. The organization noted that the agreement is pivotal in establishing a framework for resolving disputes through peaceful negotiations.

The Arab League also voiced optimism for the development of a comprehensive peace agreement that addresses all outstanding issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The League stressed the importance of continued diplomatic dialogue as the only effective means to settle the long-standing conflict.
