Doha: President of the Arab Volleyball Association Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa highlighted the significant role of the Arab Volleyball Championship in strengthening ties among Arab nations and promoting the development of volleyball in the Arab region. According to Qatar News Agency, in a press statement ahead of the 43rd Arab Volleyball Championship, which kicks off in Doha Thursday and runs until Jan. 25, Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed emphasized the championship's significance in enhancing the technical skills and performance of players. He noted that the championship is one of the strongest Arab competitions, reflecting the Arab Volleyball Association's commitment of advancing the sport at the regional level. He emphasized that the participation of 15 clubs in the competitions reflects the championship's esteemed status and demonstrates the keen interest of all teams to compete for the title. Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed thanked the Qatar Volleyball Association, the tournament's host, and the org anizing committee for their efforts in ensuring the success of the event and creating a distinguished competitive environment befitting the level of the participating teams. He also praised all the clubs for their enthusiasm to participate and their contribution to the success of this major Arab sporting event.
