Damascus, Prime Minister of the caretaker government, Eng. Hussein Arnous, stressed during his meeting Thursday with the Mayor of Tehran, Alireza Zakani, the necessity of benefiting from the experiences of managing local councils in the two countries. The both sides affirmed the importance of discussing the development policies followed by the provinces and cities in the two countries and benefiting from successful experiences in a way that contributes to improving the economic, service and development condition. Arnous said that the Syrian government pays full attention and care to the governorates and local councils, pointing out the importance of seeking to establish joint cooperation projects between the governorates of the two countries in several fields. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of the business sector, the private sector, and charitable organizations in the governorates being part of the government movement and complementing the joint government efforts in the two countries. For hi s part, Zakani stressed the strength of the relations between the two friendly countries and peoples and the necessity of working to strengthen them in various sectors in a way that contributes to societal and economic development and reconstruction.
