A joint force from the Falcons Intelligence Cell, the Intelligence and Anti-Terrorism Directorate, and the Crime Control Department in Diwaniyah Governorate arrested a gang accused of extorting citizens.
A source in the media of the governorate’s police said, “The gang members confessed to severely beating a lawyer in the city of Ardh Al-Marah and extorting citizens, indicating that the arrest took place in the capital, Baghdad, after they were tracked.
