Hosted by the Aspire Zone Foundation's (AZF) stadiums and halls until April 8, the activities of the AZF Ramadan Sports Festival continued today.
Among the festival's activities, table tennis competitions were held in cooperation with Qatar Federation for People with Special Needs, Qatar Center of Social Cultural for the Deaf and the Qatar Social and Cultural Center for the Blind, with the participation of 42 players divided into 4 categories, as part of the AZF's endeavor to provide an opportunity for all members of society to enjoy the atmosphere of sports in the month of Ramadan, regardless of their skills and physical abilities.
The AZF had revealed its events schedule which includes 8 sports. Football competitions (men) are held at Al Bayt Stadium and will continue until April 8, as well as four-a-side football competitions (men) that will continue until April 1 on 5-a-side football pitches.
The Aspire ladies' gym, in cooperation with the Sports Lab Center, hosts a futsal football event, while the women's volleyball competition is held in the Aspire Dome's volleyball hall.
