Bethlehem Together - The Jerusalem Governorate Electricity Company continues to work on developing its network lines in the various concession areas. In this context, the company's crews are working to implement the project 'Separating high-voltage lines and converting them to a ground cable' in the village of Jaba, north of occupied Jerusalem. The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Energy and Natural Resources Authority, which provided the company with '300 meters' of high-tension cables, in order to move forward with the project to dismantle overhead electrical lines near buildings in the village. The project was implemented at a length of 900 meters, where 3,000 meters of high-tension cables were pulled, a high-tension tower was installed, and old columns and lines were removed. The project aims primarily to remove old lines to reduce electrical problems and improve the quality of electrical services in the village. The project, whose cost is estimated at 275,000 shekels, comes in li ne with the directives of the company's general management to develop its network and provide the best services to its subscribers in the various concession areas.
