At least five people were killed and three others injured Friday in an explosion at a gas station in the Russian Republic of Dagestan. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said via Telegram that the station building was destroyed, and the technical area and cafeteria (of the gas station) are burning over an area of 500 square meters. It noted that the station is located south of the capital, Makhachkala, on the road leading to the town of Novy Khoshit. The ministry said that about 120 rescue teams are at the site.
