The Department of Dawah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) launched the Islam web e-scientific library application, during the Ministry’s participation in the Ramadan Book Fair in Souq Waqif.

The new application is one of the most prominent scientific applications, within the framework of the Islamic Network Department’s endeavor to develop various Islamweb sites and its electronic applications on the Internet, in line with the technological developments taking place in the Internet. A few days ago, a website in the Indonesian language was launched, and the application is expected to contribute effectively to developing research and demand tools for science students and researchers.

Mr. Mal Allah Al Jaber, Director of the Department of Dawah and Religious Guidance, explained that Islamweb Library application is one of the Awqaf distinguishing Islamic network applications on smart phones to spread awareness and knowledge, and keeps pace with the technology currently spreading in the world. It aims to show electronic Islamic heritage books and Awqaf publications, and present them to the public on smart devices.
