The Babylon Health Department announced today, Monday, that its hospitals and detachments had registered 120 injuries as a result of traffic accidents and run-overs of the pilgrims during Monday only.
The Director of Babylon Health, Dr. Haider Al-Birmani, said, "Our detachments recorded four deaths due to traffic accidents and run-over among visitors, indicating that the medical detachments deployed along the Arbaeen visitors road managed to treat more than 11,000 visitors.
He added: 120 ambulances belonging to Babylon Health and a number of governorates are still stationed along the return road for visitors.
