Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested two suspects in "kidnapping" crimes in Al-Mada'in area next to Rusafa. The Command stated in a statement that with a high-level intelligence effort to track and follow up a number of suspects in their kidnapping crimes and after obtaining judicial arrest warrants and in two separate qualitative operations, the Anti-Kidnapping Cell detachments, Intelligence and Security of the Command, in cooperation with the holding force, were able to arrest two suspects in accordance with Article 421 of the Criminal Code of Kidnapping, after luring them into tight ambushes set up for them in (Al-Mada'in) area next to Rusafa and handing them over to the requesting party. The Command called on citizens affected by these criminal acts to report any kidnapping case and to call the free hotline of the Anti-Kidnapping Cell in the Baghdad Operations Command (07716717771) while ensuring that the identity of the caller and the information he provided are not revealed.
