Baghdad Operations Command reveals details of attempted theft of the Asad Babylon residential site west of Baghdad

Baghdad Operations Command revealed, today, Friday, details of an attempted theft of the Asad Babylon residential site in Abu Ghraib. The Command stated in a statement that "two people tried to enter the Asad Babylon residential site, which is under construction in Abu Ghraib district, for the purpose of theft, which prompted the site guards, who are civilians, to shoot them, which led to the killing of one of them. As a result, the relatives of the deceased and residents of the village adjacent to the company attempted to storm it and shoot randomly, which led to material damage to the vehicles inside the complex." The statement added, "Following that, a force from the Special Forces Brigade in the Baghdad Operations Command, under the direct supervision of the Lieutenant General, the Operations Commander, accompanied by his deputy for defense affairs, headed to cordon off the place, where (16) suspects were arrested, who were parties to the incident, including the site guards and the killer, and handed o ver to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them."
