Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned and denounced the Israeli attacks on the Nuseirat camp in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of innocent Palestinian civilians, most of them children and women, a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. The ministry stressed that these attacks are a blatant violation of human rights charters, international agreements, the rules of international humanitarian law, and all moral and ethical norms. The Foreign Ministry reiterated Bahrain's call to the international community, particularly UN Security Council members, to intervene urgently to ensure an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, enforce international resolutions protecting civilians, and deliver humanitarian aid safely and sustainably. It urged prioritising diplomatic solutions to end the devastating war that has been ongoing for more than eight months, reviving just and comprehensive peace negotiations, and fulfilling the rights of the Palestini an people to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
