Manama: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain engaged in discussions with General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, Chairman of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council, who is visiting Manama, focusing on regional developments and international issues of shared interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders also deliberated on the situation in Sudan and the efforts to establish a lasting ceasefire. The discussions aimed at fulfilling the Sudanese people's aspirations for peace and stability while safeguarding Sudan's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity. The talks also emphasized the importance of facilitating unhindered humanitarian and relief aid delivery throughout the country.

General Al Burhan expressed Sudan's solidarity with Bahrain, condemning the Iranian aggression targeting the kingdom. He affirmed Sudan's support for the measures taken by Bahrain to ensure its sovereignty, security, and stability.
