Rabat, Bahrain's parliamentary delegation participated in the expanded coordination meeting of the Advisory Council of the Women's Parliamentary Forum (WPF) under the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM). The meeting was held as part of the second Marrakech Parliamentary Economic Forum for the Euro Mediterranean and Gulf region from 11 to 12 July in Morocco. Representing the delegation were Dr. Jehad Abdulla Al Fadhel, Second Deputy Chairperson of the Shura Council, Vice President of the delegation, and Chairperson of the Parliamentary Network of Women Parliamentarians in Africa and the Arab World. The delegation also included MP Hanan Mohammad Fardan; Leena Habib Qassim, Shura Council member; and Karima Mohammad Al Abbasi, Secretary General of the Shura Council. The meeting focused on the strategic priorities of the forum for 2024-2026, discussing the activities and initiatives to be implemented in the coming months and outlining the next steps for preparing for the second PAM session.
