President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Bashar Al-Assad, arrived in Jeddah this evening, to participate in the 32nd Arab Summit, for the meeting of the Council of the Arab League.

The Saudi Press Agency stated that he was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport, by His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, and the Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and the Secretary of the Jeddah Governorate, Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki, and the Director of the Makkah Region Police.
