Manama, The Bahrain Basketball Association will hos the 3x3 World Tour for the second consecutive year on November 1-2. Hassan Yaseen, Chairman of the Competition and Organisation Committee of the Bahrain Basketball Association, emphasised the committee's keenness, under the leadership of Alaa Mudara, chairman of the association, to ensure the success of the tour. Yaseen highlighted that the Basketball Association, through the competition committee, will organise a local 3x3 championship alongside the world tour for the second year in a row, building on the success of the previous edition. He noted that all basketball clubs are eager to participate, fostering a competitive spirit that the association aims to replicate this year. He said that the committee has reached out to the clubs, all of which have expressed their commitment to join, with some entering one team and others submitting two. A comprehensive list of participating teams has been compiled, and the match schedule has been finalised and distrib uted. The chairman highlighted that 20 teams will be involved, divided into five groups of four teams each. Each team will play three matches during the group stage, which is scheduled to take place prior to the world tour on October 30-31, starting at 4:30 PM on the main and warm-up courts. He further noted that following the group stage and second round, the tournament will move to the semi-finals, with the final match coinciding with the closing of the world tour.
