Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), received Eric Giraud-Telme, the newly appointed French Ambassador to Bahrain.

Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defense Affairs, and Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqer Al Nuaimi, BDF Chief-of-Staff, were present.

The commander-in-chief discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations, and the cooperation between the two countries, wishing the ambassador success in his new diplomatic duties.
