Manama, The General Command of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has invited civilians (Male and Female) to volunteer to join the Reserve Force. Relatives of the military and civilian staff and retirees of the BDF and the National Guard are eligible to register. Applicants should register on the BDF's website using the following link: https://www.bdf.bh/, provided that: 1- They are Bahrainis. 2- They are aged between 18 and 55. However, technicians and specialists are exempted from the upper age limit requirement. 3- They should have good conduct, and not be convicted by a court for a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or dishonesty. 4- They are medically fit for military service in the reserve force, and successfully pass the medical examination prescribed by the system of the BDF's military medical committees. 5- They should submit an application for volunteering on the form on the website. The Reserve Force Law, promulgated by Decree-Law (5) of 1987 and the regulations and instructions issue d pursuant thereto, regulate all rights and duties of the Reserve Force as an auxiliary force for BDF and guarantees the benefits and entitlements that result from that.
