Border forces arrested (8) accused of drug trafficking in Basra. The Border Guard Command stated in a statement: "The detachments of the Shalamcheh Customs Police Station and the Safwan Customs Police Station, affiliated with the Fourth Region Customs Police Directorate, arrested (8) travelers, including (4) foreigners, in their possession of narcotic substances of the type (Tramadol, Crystal, Marijuana), and they were all referred, along with the seized items, to the judiciary."
