Manama, Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hasan Al Hasan, Chief of Public Security, received Colonel Ammar Mustafa Al Sayed, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs, and Ali Ahmed Ameeni, Director of Crime Prevention Directorate.
The Chief of Public Security affirmed the importance of continuing to work to achieve the security vision of the Interior Ministry that was established by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Interior Minister.
He confirmed the importance of boosting the work of community police to provide the best services and highlighted the importance of developing mechanisms and methods based on scientific and practical foundations.
Colonel Al Sayed presented 24 books from the Crime Prevention Directorate and "Maan" (Together) Programme Directorate, which included various versions of educational curricula, teachers’ references and research studies published in both Arabic and English and targeted all segments of society.
The Chief of Public Security received a gift symbolising all the awards and certificates received by the Crime Prevention Directorate, most notably the Stevie Award.
