Vivo has launched the S19 series in China. It consists of two new models including the Vivo S19 and the Vivo S19 Pro. While both phones share many similarities, they also have notable differences. We will check out each phone in depth below. Before we get into the specifications and features, lets check out the design of the new Vivo S19 phones. In the performance department, the Vivo S19 comes with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. It is a decent processor, but not the latest one, as Vivo could have opted with the newer Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. Anyways, the Vivo S19 Pro comes with the Dimensity 9200+ chip. Notably, both phones use the same processors as their predecessors. Hence, there are no performance improvements with this generation. The phone comes with the Vivos Blue Ocean tech. Thanks to this, the phone can incorporate a large battery size without the hefty weight. For example, the Vivo S19 has a 6,000mAh battery, which is a big one considering the current market. But for a phone with this battery size, the wei ght is expected to be much higher, probably more than 200g. But Vivo S19 can have this battery with just 193 g of weight. For the S19 Pro, Vivo opted for a 5500mAh battery, which is also a decent size. Both the phones can be charged at 80W. Finally, the phones come out of the box with OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 OS. The 50MP main on the back is the first to use the Sony IMX921 sensor. It is joined by a 50MP tele module with a 2x lens (and 4x lossless zoom, thanks to its high resolution sensor). They are joined by an 8MP ultra wide camera. Both S19 phones use Aura Light ring flashes, which provide softer illumination. Source: Qatar News Agency
