Colonists stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque today, under the protection of the occupation police. Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that the colonists performed Talmudic rituals as they stormed the mosque. Wafa quoted eyewitnesses as saying that the colonists stormed Al-Aqsa in groups, pointing out that the occupation police turned the Old City from Occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds) into a military barracks, after having deployed hundreds of occupation police at close quarters, especially at the gates of Al-Aqsa. The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) tightened their military procedures at the gates of the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and imposed restrictions on the entering worshippers. Incursions by colonists and extremists into Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied Al-Quds have increased since the beginning of the Israeli genocide on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, 2023.
