Jerusalem: Dozens of colonists stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque Monday morning, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

According to Qatar News Agency, the colonists entered Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards, with the occupation forces providing protection and tightening military measures at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Since the beginning of the comprehensive Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, more than 68,000 settlers have stormed Al-Aqsa under the protection of the occupation police. These incursions have occurred amidst heightened security measures for entering Al-Aqsa Mosque and the entrances to the Old City.
