Baku: HE Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani inaugurated Thursday Qatar Culture Days in Azerbaijan. Present at the inauguration were HE Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Adil Karimli and HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Baku Mohammed bin Hamad Al Hajri.

According to Qatar News Agency, the event strengthens the cooperation and cultural exchange between Qatar and Azerbaijan. Assistant Undersecretary for Cultural Affairs Dr. Ghanem bin Mubarak Al Ali emphasized that the event is part of cultural diplomatic relations aimed at fostering rapprochement among peoples. It aims to showcase Qatari arts, culture, and heritage.

The opening ceremony featured a musical performance that included Qatari folk songs, blending traditional and modern styles. The performances were accompanied by interactive screens that highlighted Qatar’s rich history and its promising present.
