Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi confirmed: "Kirkuk is safe and stable."

Al-Muhammadawi said during his visit to Kirkuk: "The results achieved in the province through the intelligence effort, the support of the local government, the high security coordination, and the air strikes that target the terrorists' hideouts have made the province of Kirkuk more secure and stable."
