Doha: HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani met on Monday with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the country. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest regional and security developments, as well as aspects of defense cooperation and joint coordination in light of current circumstances.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting was attended by a number of senior officers from both sides. The discussions emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral defense ties and exploring new avenues for cooperation to address mutual security concerns. Both parties expressed their commitment to strengthening the relationship between their respective countries through continued dialogue and collaboration.
