Qatar University (QU) began yesterday the Fall 2021 semester, with the distance learning system in all the University's disciplines, except for some courses that will be taught on campus according to strict precautionary rules and standards to prevent the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
QU explained in a statement yesterday that in the context of health developments in the country, and in line with the plan to gradually lift the restrictions imposed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University decided, after consulting with the relevant authorities, to ensure some obligations and procedures for studying and attending lectures in the Fall semester 2021, until further directives are received from the concerned authorities in the country.
These obligations and procedures include continuing to work with the academic calendar announced by QU, holding the faculty member accountable for ensuring that his/her work begins on the specified date according to the academic calendar, and applying all academic policies and regulations for students.
