Doha Municipality and ATA Engage in Strategic Discussions at ATO Executive Council

Doha: Doha Municipality and the Arab Towns Award Foundation (ATA) have participated in the 62nd session of the Executive Council of the Arab Towns Organization (ATO), which is taking place in Tangier, Morocco, from January 31 to February 3. The Qatari delegation is led by Eng. Mohammed Hassan Al Naimi, who serves as both the Director General of Doha Municipality and the Director of ATA.

According to Qatar News Agency, the delegation includes Issa Rashid Hamad, Director-General of ATA, and Hamad Al Kaabi, Director of Public Affairs at Doha Municipality. The session focuses on discussions regarding the agendas of ATO-affiliated organizations, along with deliberations on perspectives, programs, and plans aimed at supporting towns and Arab local departments in their pursuit of sustainable growth.

The meetings were attended by several key figures, including the Secretary-General of ATO, Eng. Abdul Rahman Hisham Al Asfour, Tangier’s Mayor and president of the Moroccan Association of Presidents of Municipal Councils (AMPCC), Mounir Laymouri, as well as various leaders and mayors of Arab towns and municipalities.
