An Israeli airstrike targeted a school housing internally displaced people (IDPs) in Gaza City, on Saturday, resulting in multiple casualties among the displaced families sheltered inside the school.
Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted local sources as saying that at least 10 Palestinians, including children, were mastered in the assault on the school located in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in western Gaza City, with many others sustaining various injuries because of the deadly attack.
This was not the first time in which the Israeli occupation forces targeted facilities and schools sheltering IDPs since the outbreak of their dastardly aggression on the Gaza Strip on Oct.7, 2023, as hundreds of Palestinians were martyred, and hundreds were injured after the Israeli occupation soldiers massacred the Palestinians in centers housing IDPs.
The last incident saw the martyrdom of 15 Palestinians last Thursday, following an Israeli shelling in a school sheltering IDPs in Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, east of Gaz
a City.
For more than 10 months, the Israeli occupation forces have mounted their airstrikes, ground offensive and assault from sea, committing bloody massacres against the Palestinian civilians, which led to tens of thousands of martyrs, injured and missing people.
Moreover, the Israeli forces inflicted massive devastation upon the critical infrastructure creating an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe in the enclave, due to blocking food, water, medicine and fuel supplies, because of the restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation forces. (QNA)
