Cairo, His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the President of Egypt, on Tuesday took the constitutional oath for a new term in office before the House of Representatives at its new headquarters in the New Administrative Capital (NAC). President El Sisi secured a third term in the presidential election that took place in December 2023, after receiving over 39.7 million votes, representing 89.6 percent of eligible votes cast, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) News Agency reported.
