The General Directorate of Endowments at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs confirmed that the iftar tent at the Thursday and Friday Market in Ain Khaled area is seeing a large turnout of individuals, as more than 1,200 fasting people take iftar there every day.
This tent is part of the "Iftar for the Fasting" project for the year 1444 AH, which includes 10 sites in various densely populated areas of the country.
In a statement, the General Directorate of Endowments said that it had prepared tents to welcome fasting people for Iftar, providing all security and safety requirements.
The statement indicated that the Iftar tents are overseen by dozens of qualified and trained supervisors from the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
The General Directorate of Endowments at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs organizes the project of Iftar meals for fasting people for the year 1444 AH, in 10 sites in different regions of the country with a population density, aiming to provide Iftar for over 10 thousand people.
The Directorate of receives contributions from charitable endowers to support Iftar sites for fasting people, whether by covering the expenses of a full tent or contributing according to ability.
