The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Tuesday that the energy police seized 3 vehicles intended for smuggling oil products, and arrested their owners.

It said in a statement, that the detachments of the Sixth Energy Police Brigade conducted security practices within the sector of responsibility in the governorates of the Middle Euphrates, which resulted in the seizure of three vehicles intended for smuggling oil products and the arrest of their owners.

It explained that these activities come within the framework of implementing operations to combat smuggling of oil products throughout the country.
