Erdogan: Israel faces resistance from brave people defending their homeland to liberate Palestine and Lebanon

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said: The genocide in Gaza is happening in front of everyone and "has taken its place among the historical shame of humanity", considering that "whoever stands with the Zionist terrorist organization called Israel today will bear the traces of shame for generations". Erdogan added in a statement on board the plane while returning from a visit to Albania and Serbia: "We hear the screams of mothers who lost their children, but Zionist Israel does not care about this matter and continues the genocide". The Turkish President stressed that there is a great awareness that has arisen in my country against the actions of the terrorist state, and we will do everything necessary to make this permanent, and it is necessary to develop this understanding in Western countries as well." He stressed that Turkey continues to do everything necessary on legal and diplomatic grounds to hold Israel accountable for the genocide. Regarding the Israeli aggression against Lebanon and Syria a nd Israel's ambitions for expansion, Erdogan stressed that "Netanyahu and his gang's dreams will turn into nightmares and Palestine and Lebanon will be liberated." Erdogan pointed out that Israel is facing legitimate and noble resistance from brave men who defend their homeland. He said: "Israel has become a monster that kills peace and tranquility, humanity must stand up to it," and he considered that Israel is the most realistic threat to regional and global peace. The Turkish President pointed out that through the Turkish intelligence agency "we control every step that Israel has taken or may take against Turkey," stressing that Israel "not only targets the stability of Palestine and Lebanon, but also tries to affect its fire in the areas surrounding them." In the context of the situation and relations with Syria, Erdogan said: "Since the beginning of the war in Syria, Turkey has stressed that it respects the territorial integrity of Syria" and we have used all diplomatic channels to protect Syria's so vereignty. He added: "Every step taken by Turkey was aimed at reducing tension in the region and preparing the ground for searching for a solution. We will increase our efforts to create a climate of just, honorable, lasting and comprehensive peace in Syria." Regarding the attacks of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, the Turkish President considered that the coalition forces consisting of America, Britain and Germany assumed the role of sponsor of this organization. He stressed the need for Russia, Iran and Syria to take more effective measures against this situation, "which poses the greatest threat to the territorial integrity of Syria, as we are witnessing similar conditions in Iraq," according to his expression.
