The Euro-Med Monitor for Human Rights has strongly warned of the repercussions of the Israeli occupation army's issuance of evacuation orders for the displaced people in Rafah, the southernmost city in the Gaza Strip in a prelude to raiding the city. In a statement on Monday, the Euro-Med Monitor for Human Rights considered this move as a step towards mounting the unceasing crime of genocide, adding that any military operation by the Israeli occupation would dangerously result in the commission of heinous massacres against thousands of civilians, especially women and children, presaging a halt of life-saving humanitarian relief throughout the Gaza enclave. The Israeli occupation army's issuance of new evacuation orders for the displaced in Rafah was coupled with the warning that Gaza and its northern regions are still classified as dangerous combat operations zone at a time the Israeli occupation has launched high-intensity airstrikes on residential compounds in Rafah, resulting in killing and injuring doze ns of Palestinians, the statement reads. The statement added that following 213 days of persistent genocide, the Israeli entity intends to conduct a large-scale offensive in Rafah, giving no qualms about the fate of hundreds of thousands of residents and displaced people who took shelter in the city since it has been announced by the Israeli army as a safe zone.
