Federal Police Command forces arrested 24 suspects, including violators of residency conditions, and seized unlicensed weapons in Baghdad. The Command stated in a statement that the security efforts of the Fifth Division units, with the support of the intelligence effort, resulted in the arrest of (24) suspects according to various legal provisions that included (theft, brawling, possession of weapons), including (11) foreigners violating residency conditions in the areas of (Sadr City, Al-Amari, Umm Al-Kabr and Al-Ghazlan, Al-Shaab, Al-Fahhama, Al-Kufa neighborhood). He added that within the search operations carried out by the division's detachments in the Seven Palaces area, (a Kalashnikov rifle, 4 rifle stores, 3 pistols, a hunting rifle, a BKC machine gun belt, a fiber shield, 3 metal butts) were seized, and the accused were referred with the seized items to the competent authorities.
